I placed the order but did not receive order confirmation?

As long as the correct email is provided, order confirmation and subsequent dispatch information will be sent to your email address. Please check your SPAM or JUNK mail folders for our correspondence and add our email address info@lemberg-kaviar.eu to your safe list.

Where does caviar come from?

Die Produkte von Lemberg Trademark Red Caviar stammen von verschiedenen Wildlachsarten im Nordwestpazifik. Der geerntete rohe Kaviar wird direkt aus den unberührten und umweltunbelasteten Fanggebieten Alaskas, der USA und Kanadas an die Verarbeitungsanlagen von Lemberg geliefert. In Bezug auf den Stör-Kaviar bezieht Lemberg seinen Stör-Kaviar hauptsächlich aus europäischen Stör-Farmen, da das Fischen von Stör-Arten in ihren natürlichen Lebensräumen verboten ist. Der in diesen modernen Aquakulturanlagen geerntete Kaviar behält die gleiche Qualität und den gleichen Geschmack wie der von Süßwasserstören. Die sibirische (Acipenser Baerii) und die russische (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii) Stör-Art werden in diesen Aquakulturanlagen gezüchtet. Der amerikanische Stör ist die einzige Stör-Art, die zum Fischen in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zugelassen ist. Dieser Kaviar wird dem Lemberg Caviar House aus der Region des Mississippi River in den USA geliefert.

How is my order delivered?

Unsere Produkte sind garantiert frisch. Sie werden unter strengen Gesundheits- und Lebensmittelsicherheitsvorschriften gelagert und verarbeitet. Jede Bestellung wird in einem Kühlraum mit Polystyrol-/Thermoverpackungen und Eisgel-Packs verpackt, um eine geeignete Transportumgebung für bis zu 5 Tage zu gewährleisten (abhängig von der Außentemperatur und den Wetterbedingungen). When can I expect my order to arrive?

Providing the order is placed Monday to Wendsday before 14.00, you can expect your order to be processed on the day and delivered within 2-3 working days.

NOTE: we may despatch orders on Fridays during festive busy seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter etc), subject to our courier’s capabilities at the time.

Most orders are sent via UPS service and tracking number will be provided via email once your order is despatched from our warehouse. It is customers’ responsibility to track the order and report any delays to the courier or our Customer Services on email info@lemberg-kaviar.eu

What do you charge for delivery?

Our standard delivery charge is only €15 for orders with a value up to €200. Orders with a value over €200 will bear no shipping charge.

My order has arrived damaged. What should I do?

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the damaged packaging and products and send them to our Customer Services email at info@lemberg-kaviar.eu We will evaluate the damage and contact you with a resolution. Photo evidence is very important to us and will ensure that prompt and appropriate action is taken to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.

The gel packs have melted inside the package and I am worried whether it is safe to eat my caviar?

Considering that our caviar is vacuum-packed under strict food safety conditions and naturally preserved in most cases, and is typically delivered within 5 days of dispatch, the worst thing that might happen is that the expiry date may be reduced by a couple of weeks.

Our products are guaranteed to be fresh. They are stored and processed under strict health and food safety requirements. Each order is packed inside a cold room using polystyrene/thermo packaging and ice gel packs to provide an adequate transportation environment for up to 5 days (subject to outside temperature, weather, etc.). Can I pay in cash on delivery?

No, payments must be submitted via our website at the time of placing an order. We accept Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal as forms of payment. If you encounter any issues making payment directly on our site, please contact your card-issuing bank to discuss any security matters imposed by the bank. If the problem persists, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Services team by writing to info@lemberg-kaviar.eu.

Can I return my order?

We cannot accept returns of our products due to health and safety measures. However, we may accept the return of unused and unopened products under certain circumstances, provided that you return the items in their original packaging (thermo boxes and ice packs) or similar adequate packaging.

IMPORTANT: Any returns must be reported and agreed upon with our Customer Services team before sending the items back. We will carefully consider each case individuall.
